Qwen 3 is a family of open-weight large language models developed by Alibaba Cloud, comprising dense and Mixture-of-Experts architectures ranging from 0.6 billion to 235 billion parameters. The models feature dual cognitive modes—thinking and non-thinking—for balancing reasoning depth with inference efficiency, extended context support up to 131,072 tokens, and training on 36 trillion multilingual tokens across 119 languages.
